San Marino’s flag, which was adopted back in 1862, consists of two equal sized horizontal stripes – white (top) and (blue) bottom – with the country's coat of arms charged at its center. The San Marino coat of arms consists of a shield featuring three towers on three peaks - flanked by a wreath. There is also a crown and a scroll.
