The 3B Scientific® P97 PRO Postpartum Hemorrhage (PPH) Simulator is a compact and durable training model designed to help healthcare professionals recognize, evaluate, and manage postpartum hemorrhage emergencies. PPH is a leading cause of maternal mortality worldwide, making timely diagnosis and treatment critical. Developed in collaboration with Dr. Martin Neuß of Bethesda Hospital in Hamburg, the simulator enables hands-on training for the three primary causes of postpartum bleeding: uterine atony, trauma (laceration or rupture), and retained placental tissue. The model features realistic anatomy and lifelike tactile feedback using SKINlike™ silicone, allowing trainees to practice essential obstetric procedures and emergency interventions. With adjustable uterine tone, multiple bleeding sites, and controllable blood flow, the P97 PRO provides realistic simulation for both individual and team-based training in postpartum hemorrhage management.
