Description

To protect your head from the elements, 6862 Shoulder Hard Hat Liner with FR Shell has two layers of insulation: a shell and a polyester fleece lining. Shoulder-length outer shell is made with 60 percent modacrylic and 40 percent cotton twill with flame-resistant, self-extinguishing properties (not completely fire-resistant). Fleece is soft to the touch and comfortable for all-day wear. Liner fits comfortably under hard hats without adding too much bulk. Hook-and-loop closure creates a customizable fit. Attach four exterior, hook-and-loop closures to the interior of a hard hat for extra security and warmth. Elastic strip on the forehead area keeps the liner snug against the face to trap body heat and keeps cold out. Small pockets by ears hold regular-size hand warmers (not included). This liner is ideal for workers needing head protection in cold environments. For extra face coverage, attach N-Ferno 6870, 6872 or 6874 mouthpieces (not included).

Lightweight, flexible, 18-gauge tungsten knit provides no-bulk, formfitting comfort. Snug knit cuffs are longer to enhance fit and extend protection, keeping dirt and debris out. ASX (All Surface Extreme) nitrile coating is great for material handling on all surfaces. They deliver 20 percent better grip performance than sandy nitrile. Gloves are dipped in a smooth nitrile coating that allows airflow to pass through for breathability. They are then dipped in ASX nitrile to absorb and disperse liquids from the surface. Durable gloves are tested to ANSI/ISEA 105-2016 level 6 abrasion-resistance, the highest possible level, for safety and durability around the sharpest and roughest materials.
