Description

8005 Hi-Vis Neck Shades for Hard Hats protect neck and ears from sun damage. Lightweight, mesh material maximizes airflow and keeps workers cool in the heat. Fluorescent, polyester mesh enhances visibility in poor light conditions so workers can be seen. Trim meets ANSI 107 standard and provides an extra layer of safety by reflecting light. Soak in water for 2 to 5 minutes to activate. Bandana remains hydrated for up to 4 hours. The tie closure in the back allows an adjustable, snug fit on a variety of head sizes. Modacrylic cotton blend fabric meets ASTM F1506 performance requirements (ATPV rating of 7.1 cal/cm2) and classified CAT1 per NFPA 70E. It also meets ASTM F2302 for flame-resistance. This simple, effective and comfortable solution for heat-stress prevention is similar to how sweat cools the body. It uses an external water source to draw heat away, helping to regulate body temperature while providing cool relief. When activated, this cooling bandana is comfortable and refreshing for even the hottest days of the year.
