• Use this instrument to quickly and easily compare the thermal conductivity of different metals. Four metals (copper, aluminum, brass, and steel) are held in a molded support. Liquid crystal temperature indicators are attached to the front of all four of the metal bars. The temperature indicators are marked at 1cm intervals to facilitate charting the temperature movement. Place the end into hot water and watch to see which metal is the most conductive.
