• Our Electric Calorimeter can be used to measure the potential heat capabilities of various solid or liquid fuels. The cover contains a mounted heating coil of about 1.5 ohms resistance with standard binding posts for electrical connection. When connected to a 6V battery, the coil will cause a temperature rise of about 5°C in 10 minutes. The supporting posts and coil are coated to prevent electrolysis. Also provided is an insulated stirrer supported by a rubber stopper. Instructions included.
