Note: patient’s weight and positioning on top can alter the absorbency amount along with eventual wear and tear which can also have an effect. Also, it’s not recommended that this quantity of liquid or even a portion of it is left under a patient, as the patient’s comfort and well being will be affected when positioned on a wet surface for an extended period of time.
