Only one end of the coupling has a stop, allowing the opposite end to slide freely over the end of a pipe. The fittings are then released using a disconnect tool and slide back onto the other end of the pipe for a successful connection and leak repair. Disconnected Clip is included with the fitting. UPC, IAPMO, and NSF-61 certified and approved. The fitting should be used with copper only and is rated at 200 F., 200 P.S.I. It is made of 1-piece DZR brass. Fittings can be buried and placed behind drywall. Fittings are removable and reuseable. Product is individually bagged.
